When I came to the New Hope Shelter, I was going through a really dark time in my life. The shelter welcomed me with open arms. Staff made the call for me and with me. I got accepted into Mirrors Treatment. I went to treatment for 28 days. this was my 2nd time in treatment that year. I graduated from treatment. I was able to forgive myself and I rededicated my life to Christ. He gave me the freedom to really make my life mew in Him. I got re-baptized in November as well. Life has gotten better everyday. God gave me hope again and real joy. New Hope and the staff have given me the support and courage to keep doing the right thing and living for Jesus. I am now 7 months clean and God has blessed more than I could have done by myself. My son, who I had given away for adoption, was able to spend his sweet 16 with me. My heart is full and joy overflows knowing how much Jesus has changed my life. Thank you to New Hope, staff, and my friends. Coming here was the hardest, but best decision I could have made. Thank you.
